Thousand of immigrants arrived in British Columbia in the post of the Fraser Vakkey, were seveal reformed Dutch families. In God's provience, this small group united into a local congregation from which in 1966 the Reformed Congregations in North America (RCNA) in Chilliwack branched off.
During the fifty years following its institution, the RCNA Chilliwack has been served by four Dutch ministers: Rev. J. Pannekoek (1970-1971), Rev. J. Roos (1987-1994), Rev. T.R. Treur (2002-2009) and Rev. A. Geuze since 2011. This book describes the first fifty years of the congregation. The events of these past decades have shaped the congregation. Moreover, they show that God's faithfulness has been "as the mountains are round about Jerusalem."
